More than Food

Thank you to all the groups and individuals for bringing items other than food to brighten everyone's life. We have had donations of clothing especially clothes and shoes which are appreciated. Homemade cookies and cards have been distributed and beautiful flowers have been brought in to 'perk up' our tables. Thank you all!

Edgemont Methodist cooked ham broccoli and rice casserole and served it with french bread and fruit cocktail. Temple Bnai Israel prepared our desserts. We had 48 guests.

Our 49 guests enjoyed a great meal prepared by Magnolia Church of Christ. The menu was beef stew, Mexican cornbread and cake.

First Baptist had a popular meal of pork chalupa, slaw, cornbread and coconut cake. We served 39 guests.

First United Methodist cooked broccoli and cheese soup and this was served with sub sandwiches, cake and fruit. We had 42 guests.

The Shoals Soup Kitchen is celebrating it two year anniversary today. Thank you to all the volunteers who donate time, money and talents.

We were excited to have Woodmont Baptist join us again. They prepared and served our 35 guests a great meal of pork roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, rolls and cake.

Trinity Episcopal whipped up a great meatloaf which they served with white bean soup, green beans and slaw. We had 42 guests.

Calvary Fellowship prepared and served chili spaghetti, green beans, corn and peach cobbler. This was enjoyed by our 55 guests. The volunteers received a wonderful thank you card from some of the guests...we love the thank yous.

Westminster Presbyterian prepared meatball sandwiches, deviled eggs, tater tots, macaroni and cheese. This was served with cake to our 59 guests.

We had a treat today as the chefs at the the Marriott cooked beef soup to serve with chicken salad sandwiches and fruit cocktail. First Methodist and State Line Church provided the volunteers that served 47 guests.

Magnolia Church of Christ cooked white beans with ham, Mexican cornbread, cole slaw and spice cake. They served 41 guests.
