Biggest crowd yet...82 guests! Edgemont Methodist prepared baked chicken, green beans, corn and jambalaya. First Presbyterian made a congealed salad and Temple Bnai Israel cooked the dessert. But with this size group food was supplemented with a quick run to KFC and the grocery store.

Magnolia Church of Christ cooked a Mexican casserole and served tortilla chips, salad and chocolate pudding to our 53 guests.

Special Holiday Announcement

The Shoals Community Soup Kitchen will be closed Friday, November 26 and Saturday November 27. First United Methodist Church is preparing a Thanksgiving Meal and our guests will be welcomed there.

First Baptist cooked lasagna and served it with a tossed salad, garlic bread and an assortment of desserts. We had 64 guests. A special thanks to the volunteers from Stateline Church and UNA.

First United Methodist prepared hamburgers and baked beans. This was served with chips and cake to our 70 guests. We are thankful that the FUMC volunteer who recently underwent surgery is doing so well.

Trinity Episcopal was back again today with barbecue, beans and slaw. Fifty-nine guests enjoyed this meal.

Trinity Episcopal made vegetable soup and served it with slaw, cornbread muffins and candy. Number of guests was down this day to 45.

So glad Calvary Fellowship is still participating with the SCSK. They prepared homemade chili and served it with hot dogs, french fries, tortilla chips, peaches and brownies. We had 67 guests.

First Presbyterian served a large crowd of 75 guests chicken casserole, rice, pears, bread and ice cream sandwiches. Thanks to the last minute cooks and volunteers; we needed extra hands.
