Woodmont Baptist was gracious to help us out this fifth Saturday of the month. They cooked a roast and served it with mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and cake to 86 guests.
We are grateful to First Christian for their participation. They prepared seven can soup, pimento cheese sandwiches and dessert which was served to 59 guests.
Shoals Soup Kitchen is three years old! Thanks to all the churches and organizations for participating. Trinity Episcopal prepared spaghett and meatballs, salad, rolls and cake for the 49 guests.
Our meal today was BBQ meatballs, tater tots, fruit cocktail, rolls and cake prepared by Westminster Presbyterian Church. Seventy-two guests were present.
Our meal of ham, mac and cheese, green beans, salad, tangerines, and spice cake was prepared by First United Methodist Church. It was enjoyed by 76 guests.
